I want to express how deeply sorry I am for your loss. We were never meant to have to suffer and die. So, the pain of losing a loved one can be so hard to cope with. What I always try to focus on is the hope that Jehovah God promises us in His word. At Revelation 21 verses 3 and 4 it is said, "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Jehovah God has seen and taken note of our pain and suffering, and He has promised to do something about it. He will remove the problems that we deal with today, but He has also promised something for those who have died. John 5: 28, 29 says in part, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". So God, by means of His Son Jesus, will resurrect individuals who have died. We along with our resurrected loved ones will live in happy peaceful conditions. I hope that these promises give you strength and comfort through your trial.
