Mother Clara Somers is remembered by many as the mother who stayed on her knees in prayer for her family, friends, and many others. She prayed many wondering souls into the arms of Jesus and away from the wiles of this world. She, Along with my mother started noon day prayer and scripture church of Christ. They called it, “Lunch with Jesus” which inspired me many years later, to start a “Lunch with Jesus” prayer group with my coworkers. I will greatly miss Mother Somers. She boldly stood on the solid rock of love and truth.
